Here is a fun back to school activity to try. My kindergarten teacher friend Ms. Hunter and I used this with our kindergarten students two years ago as part of our school tour. The kids would get stickers or stamps on their page from the person who worked in that area (kind of like a passport). It took a lot of time, but the kids loved it. I'd suggest doing it in small groups instead of taking your WHOLE class around the school.
Directions: Create a class set. The document is lined up so you can get two little books from each set copied. Children have the option to trace the words and draw a picture when they return with their sticker. You can also fill in your principal and assistant principals names on the corresponding pages.
